My photographic Narrative: Seagull 4A TLR

1st roll shot on uncle Masa’s Seagull 4A TLR from the late 1960’s. This precious camera is a kind gift from a respectful photographer who I am related to and only finally met for the first time last year in Taiwan. I love hearing him shares about his creative process and stories about grandpa 奇福. These images turn out well and I can't wait to shoot more rolls with Seagull.

我很享受摸索老相機的過程 小心翼翼的清洗檢查每個結構 然後試著了解怎麼使用 我是一個不喜歡看說明書的人 因為我更喜歡摸索的過程 反正只要不弄壞就好 這種機械相機的手感跟使用上的聲音真的是非常令我著迷 期待更多拍攝 謝謝敏舅舅

I am still trying to figure out the temperament of this camera. I am struggling with the shutter count and the winder. The most images I managed to get out of a roll is 9 and the space between each frame on the negative hasn’t been consistent. This is quite a learning curve but I absolutely enjoy this process of trial and error.

我還在摸索這台相機的脾氣。我在快門次數和過片器的操作上遇到了一些困難。最成功的一卷底片也只拍出9張照片，而且每張影像在底片上的間距也不一致。這確實是一段學習曲線，但我非常享受這種不斷試錯的過程。
